About the role
The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and direct the activities of the analytical laboratory and manages the performance of all services in accordance with internal goals and objectives, ISO, and Company requirements and EHS Policies and procedures.
The employee shall focus on customers' expectations, preventing problems, and continuously improving results for themselves, customers, and other employees.
The employee will provide support in developing and implementing quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem solving.
The employee takes a lead role in developing and maintaining a work environment that fosters employee participation and performance to CMI standards. You will also be doing method-development for the cutting-edge new products and corresponding with customers to meet their requirements.
Responsibilities
· Execution of intime analysis for raw materials, process materials, finished goods, test- and development samples. Responsible for the validity of all analytical results.
· Set analysis priorities when needed and communicate to relevant departments
· Analyse analytical costs and equipment reliability and proposes projects for improvement, when needed
· Manage lab KPS’s
· Research and development of new methodologies to meet Customer requirements
· Correspond frequently with Customers, Production teams, Sales team, and Maintenance

Position Requirements
· PhD in Analytical Chemistry(preferred not required), MS in related field, 3-5 years in lab management role
· Familiarity with various analytical instruments (ICPMS, GCMS, IR, EDXRF, UV-Vis, IC, NMR, SEM, Elemental Analysis, etc.)
· Proficient with GCMS and ICPMS
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Team-player that functions well in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
