Actors FCU, a not-for-profit Credit Union headquartered in the heart of Times Square, NYC, (with additional branches in Los Angeles and Chicago) is looking for a Manager of Human Resources and Benefits.
Job Description:
Manage the day-to-day human resources functions of the credit union. Administer and monitor human resourse programs including: on-board training and orientation programs, performance appraisal programs, disciplinary action, employee relations, recruitment and retention strategies and organizational development. May act as occasional back-up for payroll. Ensures all human resource programs comply with Federal, State and Local regulations. Keep abreast of changing trends or regulations and react quickly to incorporate those changes into the credit union.
Prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures. Provide guidance on managing to, and staying compliant with, HR policies.
Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, and information activities programs.
Establish and maintain department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings, as needed. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Human resource/SHRM Certification, a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
