Among the programs and services, we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services.
Who We Need:
We are currently looking for Residential Support Counselor to join our Glen Burnie Residential team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs. This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
- Staff are also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes.
- Responsible for medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
- Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
- Must drive 15 passenger vans to transport clients.
What You Need:
- High school diploma and 2 years experience in psychiatric rehab, mental health, or a related human services field.
OR
- Associates Degree in psychology, sociology or a human services field with no experience required.
- Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence)
- Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have own vehicle.
- Someone who has a passion for working with individuals with a mental illness or a willingness to learn.
