Community Support Network is hiring Residential Counselors in Santa Rosa for our Licensed Board and Cares. Shifts Consist of afternoons, evenings and weekends.
This program is a home individuals with behavioral health challenges who benefit from independent living in a communal setting. Our program provides a supportive residential environment where staff work with individuals. To focus on life skills such as money management, access to community resources, and health and nutrition. Staff actively support and encourage involvement in recovery support groups for improving positive coping skills on the path to independence.

Essential Job Functions:
- Duties include but are not limited to maintaining positive, supportive and respectful resident relations, providing supportive and educational services in a social rehabilitation setting.
- Supporting residents in completing activities of daily living, organizing and facilitating group activities, medication management, documentation (e.g., provide progress notes for clients, incident reports and special reports when necessary, etc.)
- Following and enforcing established guidelines, policies, and procedures with residents, provide crisis prevention and intervention in a trauma-informed manner, and chart reviews/filing.
Minimum Education/Requirements:
- 18 years or older; H.S. degree/GED required,
- Prior experience working in a board and care a plus
- Ability to meet all hiring requirements including criminal background check.
