Artemis Fine Art Services has an open position for a career-orientated Fine Art Coordinator within the logistics department. The essential duties of the role are to manage and support the development of relationships with auction houses, designers, galleries, agents and collectors. This role would ideally suit a candidate with experience working with art fairs, auction houses, galleries and an understanding of the logistics involved with the fine art industry.
This is a busy office, the team are highly professional and well spirited. This is a full time position and with a competitive benefits package such as; PTO, contributed healthcare, contributed 401K plan, and more. The candidate must have proof of authorization to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
Able to manage small jobs from quote stage to billing completion. Also, able to manage large projects with supervision.
Works closely with the packing department and handles majority of small parcel interstate FedEx air shipments.
Supporting team, Account Managers with their day to day workload including setting up client files, creating purchase orders, entering data, producing bill of ladings and generating invoices
Liaising with the Dispatch and Operational departments regarding collections, deliveries and packing requirements ensuring the client’s expectations are met
Ensuring the department calls are handled in a prompt and professional manner
Taking care and focusing attention on all administrative duties to ensure accuracy.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree
Thorough knowledge of the industry
A minimum of 2 years experience in the fine art logistics / art fairs / auction house services
Proficiency in international shipping is a bonus
Sales experience is a bonus
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy
Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work well under pressure, to cost and time constraints
Excellent problem-solving skills, able to use intuition to resolve any issues and complaints from the client
Highly organized and detail orientated, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multifaceted work environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal computer systems – Moveware / iLive (training will be provided)
Excellent email etiquette and a good telephone manner that is polite and courteous at all times
Demonstrates good communication skills both written & spoken
Has excellent time management and organizational skills - Able to multi-task as required
Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment
Comfortable in a results-driven workplace
Data entry experience
Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English
