Position Overview: We are seeking a rockstar Accounting Manager to lead our small accounting team and ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial statements for our construction and digital marketing clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Oversee and mentor a team of bookkeepers, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Financial Management:
- Ensure the timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for construction and digital marketing clients.
- Provide exceptional client service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve accounting procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
