Forge Industrial Staffing in Warren, MI currently seeking an experienced Payroll Admin to fill an internal opening within our growing company! The ideal candidates Manage a variety of payroll and general office activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Requirements of the Payroll Admin
- Internal and external customer service skills.
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Proficiency with 10-key adding machine and other office equipment.
- Positive and professional in demeanor and appearance.
- Available for overtime.
- Must be willing and able to travel for training (as needed)

Responsibilities of the Payroll Admin
- Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, preparation of payrolls, personnel, information management, filing systems, equipment maintenance other clerical services.
- Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
- Answers incoming phone calls take and route messages as appropriate.
- Researches and develops processes and procedures that create timely and efficient workflow.
- Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
- Performs payroll processing (taxes, exemptions and insurance).
- Assists with processing of unemployment claims and hearings.
- Ensures accuracy on timecards to reduce errors in service associates pay.
- Maintains strong relationship with client companies to complete payroll processes.
- Reviews records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Facilitates missing hour reports between service associates and client companies.
- Tracks statistics and prepares activity reports for guidance of management.
- Coordinates activities of various office functions to ensure compliance to procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
