Position Summary
Doane University invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach – Wide Receivers at its nationally recognized undergraduate campus in Crete, Nebraska. The assistant coach’s responsibilities include serving as the wide receivers coach and assisting the head coach in all duties involved in running a competitive football program. This position is responsible for student-athlete recruitment and retention and is an integral part of the Doane University Football Coaching Staff.
The assistant coach is expected to attend practices and team meetings as well as travel with the team for away competitions. They will assist in the planning and execution of travel plans as assigned. Recruiting duties may include but are not limited to: scouting and evaluation, planning and executing campus visits, calls, emails, mailings, social media communication, and management of the recruiting database.

Salary
$10,000 stipend paid over 10 months
Minimum Required Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain student-athletes and the willingness to travel in and out of the state. Must possess an excellent knowledge of the sport that includes intricate knowledge of position play along with a solid understanding of offensive schemes. Experience should also demonstrate an outstanding ability to teach the sport and represent Doane University in a positive and effective manner.
