Job Title: Behavior Consultant (Master's Degree)
Location: Within a 25-mile radius from home location and 50% remote
Pay: $62,000-72,00/ yearly D.O.E.
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Behavior Consultant to join our team at Special Needs Network. As a Behavior Counselor, you will be responsible for working directly with clients with special needs, providing behavioral counseling and support services to help improve their daily lives.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis or related program, 12 units in ABA and prior experience as a Behavior Therapist. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, be compassionate and have experience working with clients with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
- Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis OR a Master's Degree with an emphasis in ABA OR completed BCBA coursework/certificate program
- Prior experience as a Behavior Therapist
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Certified or willingness to be certified in CPR
- Must be willing to drive within a 25 mile radius to meet clients
- Bilingual - Spanish highly preferred
