Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary patient information
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with billing and processing insurance claims
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Manage the front desk area and keep it clean and organized
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations of the office
Qualifications:
- We will train the correct Individual for the job
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using office software systems, such as Epic or similar electronic medical record systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
