Job Description:
As a Leasing Consultant, you connect with future residents, identify their wants and needs, and secure lease agreements for a multi-million dollar, student housing apartment community. Discover future residents’ needs, show them around your community’s amenity areas and highlight all the benefits that will make them want to call your community home. Brag about your community’s unique features and benefits – and highlight what sets it apart from the competition. Create added value by anticipating needs and addressing living concerns customers haven’t even thought about yet
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Process lease applications (new and renewals).
· Maintain accurate records of prospective and current tenants.
· Assist in the preparation of leasing agreements and contracts.
· Any additional duties and tasks assigned by ownership.
Qualifications:
· Previous leasing experience required.
· Preferred 2 years’ experience in the student housing industry.
· Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
· Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
· Customer service oriented.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Must be proactive.
· Must be competitive.
· Must be a problem solver.
· Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
· Must exhibit a positive, can-do attitude.
· Must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; both effectively and efficiently.
· Must be able to multitask, prioritize and delegate as needed to ensure proper time management of tasks to ensure a high level of customer service and pay attention to details.
· Must be skilled in communicating with residents and guarantors in a prompt and professional manner.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
