JOB PURPOSE:
This position will coordinate all aspects of scheduling for production at treating plants. This includes coordination with operations on kilning, framing, groundline prep, tagging and treating. In addition to coordinating all scheduling functions related to a finished pole, this person will act as a liaison between Sales and Production teams to help with messaging on production status. This position will also own the analysis behind developing and communicating lead times by plant to the sales and operations teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Meet daily with Production team to ensure treatment plans are in place and being executed to meet customer lead times for delivery.

Attend daily shipping meetings.

Use SOP, Tree Sap, and Inventory systems for Plants.

Monitor and support creation of plans for framing, kilning, and treating at respective locations.

In collaboration with plant operations, plan all steps of the production process including kilning, incising, framing, treating, and shipping.

Lead weekly meetings with the Sales department to discuss lead times and potential customer issues.

Coordinate with logistics to make sure wood is moving to satellite yards once it is treated at the plants.

Scheduling for any TSO orders at plants.

Monitor and create needed restocks for customer held inventory to make sure that Bell always meets minimum inventory requirements.

Any other responsibilities that are deemed necessary by management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Prior experience in production scheduling is highly valuable.
SKILLS BASED REQUIREMENTS:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Understanding of math and volumes in freight and logistics.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
To perform the duties of this job, the employee is required to use the computer for extended periods of time in a sitting or standing position. Ability to work under time constraints and ability to work in a face paced work environment. When visiting a plant, the employee will need to be able to be on their feet for an extended period. Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, minimum of 25 lbs. Exposure to varying types of climates. Outside environment can be dusty & noisy. Equipment & treated lumber may emit fumes. Moderate travel required.
