Position Summary:
As a Receptionist/Member Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our members, both in-person and over the phone. Your primary responsibilities include answering and routing calls, greeting, and assisting members, and providing support with various membership services.
What will you be doing:
- Answer Calls: Provide superior customer service, routing calls to the appropriate individuals.
- Greet Visitors: Welcome members and visitors, assisting or directing them as needed.
- Handle Inquiries: Field questions and direct them to the appropriate contacts.
- Assist with Lockboxes: Lease, program, and assign lockboxes to members, and provide backup support.
- Member Support: Ability to support members with purchases of merchandise from our retail store.
- Membership Coordination: Route applications and emails to Membership Coordinators.
- General Support: Assist other staff members with miscellaneous projects as needed.

Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma and at least two years of related experience.
- Language Ability: Can read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information.
- Mathematical Ability: Can perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability: Can apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with standardized situations.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and proprietary software.
Additional Requirements:
- Behavioral: Ability to multitask, handle difficult member issues, calculate amounts owed, and respond to calls calmly and professionally.
- Physical: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Location: The primary location for this role will be at our Northland office. There may be instances where travel to our Leawood location is required for Front Desk Coverage for the day.
