Work location: Texas Health Dallas. Hamon Tower, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231
Work Hours:
- PRN/As needed; Variable Rotating shifts, weekdays with weekend and holiday requirements.

Here’s What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 1 Year in health care environment involving direct patient care preferred
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
- CCT - Certified Cardiographic Technician 6 Months preferred Or
- NCET - Nationally Certified ECG Technician 6 Months preferred
- Other approved National certification Upon Hire Required And
- Other successful completion of Telemetry test within 30 days of hire Upon Hire Required
What You Will Do
PATIENT CARE:
- Ensure the continuity of patient care using communication tools and electronic medical record.
- Identify patient using two patient identifiers.
- Explain procedures to patient and obtain patient consents.
- Ensure exam room is fully stocked and in order before patient arrival.
- Provides assistance to patient according to procedure being performed.
- Appropriately respond to patients in distress.
- Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.
- Assists in admission/transfer discharge.
- Produces quality resting electrocardiograms (ECG) and ambulatory ECGs following department policies and procedures.
- Enters orders into computer or manual system if applicable. Documents accurately and appropriately.
- Adapts care to reflect patient population and incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.
