Key Qualifications
- Previous work experience requiring high engagement with people
- Qualitative user research skills including interviews and usability testing
- High attention to detail
- Experiencing in understanding the ergonomics of consumer products
- Familiarity with consumer electronic products is a plus
Description
- Facilitate, conduct, and lead in-person user studies
- Prepare, troubleshoot, maintain study specific equipment for data collection efforts
- Assist with development of instructional materials as needed
- Develop and distribute surveys, review and collate survey responses and other feedback
- Set up and break down study session areas
- Engage and communicate with participants
- Ensure appropriate participant compliance with protocol
- Document session issues
- Gather data from test devices
- Assist with data review and clean-up
Education
- Bachelor's degree required, (master's/doctorate preferred) with a concentration or extensive work in human factors, industrial engineering, cognitive engineering, experimental psychology, and/or human-computer interaction.
Additional Requirements
- Relevant experience in hardware human factors and/or consumer product usability evaluation preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
