We are a locally owned Cajun Restaurant and Cajun Specialty Food Store. We are those people that make Turducken and Boudin and don’t think it’s strange… We are also one of the largest crawfish suppliers in Central Texas. Our foods are created from scratch and we are well known in the community for being very good at what we do. We are not a franchise and great pride is taken in our authentic approach to our food and customer service. We are committed to being the best at what we do while maintaining a positive and fun environment for everyone. We are busy and looking to add a team member.
While you will be trained on our line, we are looking for someone that enjoys learning and making our specialty foods.. We make all things in house. Sausage, boudin, deboned poultry and many other traditional Cajun dishes are made fresh every week. We keep schedules consistent and close @ 6pm so late nights are not an issue. Overtime is available during certain times of the year if wanted but it is not mandatory.
Here’s what you’ll do and what we look for in a Team Member: (Line Cook)
Prepare our dishes from scratch while following the recipe to produce consistent results.
Effectively manage your station during the shift.
Stocking your station as needed for effective and timely execution.
Portion all products, follow recipes and procedure to maintain high levels of execution and consistency.
Have a passion for great food.
Have a positive attitude. (This is good to have at all times! Not just when you are working.)
Enjoy teamwork and collaboration. We tip pool and every team member is responsible for the customer experience.
