Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician
Location: 800 West Ferry Condominium, Buffalo, New York
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our property. This role includes janitorial duties, lawn care and snow removal as needed, timely handling of assigned work orders, trash removal, and other assigned duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform janitorial duties such as cleaning common areas, restrooms, and offices.
2. Maintain and care for outdoor areas including lawn care and snow removal as needed.
3. Handle assigned work orders promptly and efficiently, addressing maintenance issues in a timely manner.
4. Remove trash and debris from property grounds and designated areas.
5. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs.
6. Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
7. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
9. Communicate effectively with property management and team members to coordinate tasks and priorities.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of janitorial practices and equipment.
- Experience with lawn care equipment and snow removal tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
