As a Fleet Coordinator, you will manage and maintain company assets relating to fleet & tools. This includes company vehicles, trucks, box trucks, and industrial trucks. Responsibilities for an Fleet Coordinator:
- Manage and maintain all company assets relating to fleet & tools while utilizing company software to monitor drivers and track vehicles
- Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory and safety standards, including licenses, permits, emissions testing, and recalls
- Review & maintain the following for all fleets:
- Regular maintenance & upkeep
- Inspections
- Accidents & repairs
- Driver data & fleet use
- Be a main point of contact and manage communication for all accidents, breakdowns, etc
- Work with external vendors, including mechanics, body shops, dealerships, etc
- Work closely with operators and address asset questions and concerns
- Comply with US Department of Transport laws and regulations
- Occasionally be available for warehouse assistance
- Utilize social media and Enterprise to purchase/sell assets when needed
- Order & coordinate equipment from Rental Equipment Companies
- Occasionally travel between Dallas and Houston
- Maintain/manage tools and other company assets
Requirements for a Fleet Coordinator:
- Must have an active and valid driver’s license
Qualification for a Fleet Coordinator:
- One of the following or a combination of
- Fleet coordination experience
- Mechanic-related experience
- Knowledge of how to maintain vehicles is a must
- Ability to understand technical concepts
- Ability to use technical software & computers
Wage and Benefits for a Fleet Coordinator:
- $22-$24 per hour (paycheck every Friday)
