Job Description:
The Associate will be involved in the data management, analysis, visualization, and automation of investment guidelines monitoring across all BXMA businesses. The Investment Guideline Management team is an integral part of BXMA’s investment process which works closely with BXMA’s Portfolio Management, Investment Operations, Institutional Client Service, Legal and Compliance teams. The Associate will have significant exposure to all types of hedge fund investment strategies and direct investments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining investment restriction and liquidity data in multiple systems
Conducting analysis on investment guideline management related data for portfolio management teams and oversight committees
Creating new and enhancing existing reporting and visualization
Partner with the Blackstone Technology Innovations team to oversee the prioritization and development of Investment Guideline Management team projects
Assist senior members of the Investment Guideline Management team with certain business initiatives unrelated to technology
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of industry experience
Self-starter, highly organized, and detail oriented
A desire to work in a dynamic team environment
An ability to work with large amounts of performance, risk, and other data
An ability to manage ad hoc projects independently and to completion
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Python skills
The following qualifications are not required, but are a plus:
Passion for global financial markets and hedge funds
Understanding of hedge funds structures, liquidity terms, and business terms
Prior experience with Compliance, Risk, Audit, or Hedge Fund Operations
Proficient in C#

Expected annual base salary range:
$120,000 - $170,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
