Position Overview:
Are you ready to be a part of a dynamic team at our lease-up community? Mayfield Residential is seeking a Service Supervisor to play a vital role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our newly developed properties. Reporting to the Community Manager, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a thriving lease-up community.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Oversight: Supervise maintenance staff in performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the property is well-maintained and presents a positive image to prospective residents.

Work Order Management: Efficiently coordinate and prioritize work orders to address maintenance issues promptly and maintain resident satisfaction during the lease-up phase.

Preventive Maintenance: Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to proactively address potential issues and ensure the long-term viability of property assets.

Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring sufficient stock to support the needs of a growing lease-up community while controlling costs.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a safe work environment for maintenance staff, residents, and visitors, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any concerns promptly.

Budget Management: Assist the Lease-Up Community Manager in developing and managing the maintenance budget, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities to optimize spending while maintaining property standards.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment that prioritizes quality service and resident satisfaction.

Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical or trade school certification preferred

3 years of maintenance experience in residential property management or related field

EPA certification: Type 1 and II or Universal (preferred

CPO (preferred)

Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in various maintenance disciplines, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver's license
