Job Description:
RVA Counseling is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated LCSW Clinical Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive clinical experience, and a commitment to providing high-quality supervision to our team of clinicians. As an LCSW Clinical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of effective and ethical mental health services to our clients and providing guidance to our licensed and pre-licensed clinicians as well as our interns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and support to our team of therapists and interns
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support staff
- Review and approve treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients
- Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the field of mental health and integrate this knowledge into supervision and clinical practice
- Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that promotes growth, learning, and collaboration
- Provide HR support to the clinical staff and assist in facilitating communication between clinicians and leadership
- Act as a core part of the leadership team and participate in weekly staff meetings
- Maintain a clinical caseload providing counseling services to clients
Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work or a related field
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Certification as an Clinical Supervisor or equivalent credential
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a demonstrated track record of providing effective therapy and clinical supervision
- Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing the practice of counseling, social work, and psychotherapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to supervisees
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a variety of clinical settings, such as community mental health centers, private practice, or residential treatment facilities
- Experience supervising clinicians from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of experience
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and interventions in the treatment of mental health disorders
- Experience working with children, couples, and families
Work Schedule
- 20 completed client hours per week (80 completed client sessions per month)
- 4 prime shifts per month (prime shifts are considered to be sessions held 5pm or later on weekdays or a weekend shift)

Pay: $76,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
