Qualifications:

Mechanically inclined

Ability to read & write English

Ability to use basic math skills

Computer literate including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to type accurately, including the operation of a computer keyboard at a moderately rapid rate

Ability to exercise sound judgement in the handling of varied and moderately complex matters for which relatively well-defined policies and procedural guidelines exist without the need for direct supervisory involvement

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department and company personnel at all levels

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

1-2 years of experience in Plant/Operations/Manufacturing/Shipping, or Logistics and/or the Transportation or Inventory Management using modern inventory techniques

Strong team player with a commitment to company values and mission

Strong desire to learn, improve skills, and to be coached

Valid Drivers License

Certified Forklift Operator preferred
Responsibilities:
-
Manage the company's warehouse and fleet needs.
-
Communicate with vendors and coordinate deliveries
-
Communicate project statuses, issues, and provide solutions in areas for improvement to drive the business and productivity
-
Conduct and maintain inventories for the warehouse
-
Communicate and assist the Asset, Warehouse, and Fleet Manager
-
Work as a liaison with supply and demand, helping to communicate forecasting of needs, potential issues, and timelines
-
Travel to other Texas locations 2 times per month (overnight travel).

Travel to our Austin shop is required 1 day per week. The hours that day will be as follows: arrival at the AUS shop no later than 8a, returning to the DFW shop the same day no earlier than 7p. Overnight accommodations plus per diem the night before arrival is paid at the company's expense.
