Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. This successful candidate will be identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing procurement processes, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to drive growth and success for our firm.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the architectural and engineering sectors to expand the firm's client base and project portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for business development and procurement to achieve company growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
- Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and tender documents in response to RFPs and other procurement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and clients to secure favorable agreements.
- Monitor and manage procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Track and report on business development and procurement activities, including performance metrics and progress toward goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in business development, procurement, or a related role within the architectural and engineering industry.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities and managing procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of the architectural and engineering industries, including market trends, key players, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
