Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and assist in daily office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Manage incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate staff
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Handle office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
- Coordinate meetings and events as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in proofreading documents for accuracy
- Ability to computerize information, transcribe notes, and maintain records
- Familiarity with Google Suite for document creation and management
- Experience with order entry processes is a plus
