Motor Technology, Inc., a national leader in providing superior quality and value in electro-mechanical repairs and services to our customers, is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician for our service department. Since 1981, we have been an integral part of keeping national industries up and running smoothly and efficiently. We are a family-owned company that builds, services, and sells industrial motors, controls, gearboxes, and related driven equipment for advanced electric motor systems. Our PM techs are responsible for performing predictive maintenance techniques on critical equipment to estimate when maintenance should be performed.
The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM with an unpaid 30 minute lunchbreak.
Responsibilities

Use vibration analysis equipment
-
Troubleshoot vibration problems
-
Collect and analyze equipment data
-
Properly grease and lubricate equipment
-
Inspect equipment for indication of possible failure
-
Identify equipment that would benefit from PM technologies
-
Review collected PM data
-
Participate in root cause analysis and provide insight with the predictive tools and data analysis
-
Participate in evaluation of analyses and make recommendations relative to findings regarding maintenance
-
Maintain communication with all resources associated with PM activities
-
Accountability for use and maintenance of systems used
-
Support activities to ensure timely, effective, and efficient service to customers
-
Support PM activities by building rapport with site customers
-
Follow a daily customer site route using company vehicle
-
Adhere to all company and customer Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality Management protocols
-

Qualifications
Required:
-
Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
-
Strong computer skills
-
Able to work overtime
-
Ability to work independently

Able to lift up to 50lbs

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Valid Driver's License
Highly desirable:

Knowledge of AC/DC electric motors and other rotating equipment

1-2 years of vibration analysis
-
Vibration level 1 certification
