The King County Facilities Management Division (FMD) is looking to hire experienced professional Security Officers to join their security team. The Security Management team provides physical building security, building access and control, operates an emergency dispatch center, and manages lost and found processes.
IMPORTANT:

King County FMD Security is a 24-hour operation, and presence may be required at any King County facility.

Security officers will be required to work a varied schedule including 8-hour and/or 10-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Security officers are required to report to a variety locations throughout King County for business and training needs.

Term-Limited Temporary positions are "at will" but are full-time and eligible for comprehensive benefits. TLT positions may be eligible for retirement benefits. This TLT position is currently approved to last 12 months with the possibility of extending based on business and operational needs.

This position is designated as Mission Critical - employees who provide for and maintain the essential functions of county services declared or otherwise occurring emergencies.
