Responsibilities
- Participate with leadership in the weekly debrief of each service, including Sunday services and special church-wide services, and ensure that appropriate action is taken to continuously improve the outcome of the services.
- Recruit, train and retain volunteers (instrumentalists and vocalists) to serve on the Worship Team.
- Lead and support other church ministries and staff members regarding music and worship.
- Disciple and care for worship team members.
- Train selected children for 45 minutes each Sunday to develop creative, technical and musical talent.
- Work with Resident Pastor to develop a Worship Team schedule for Sunday morning experience and special events across the campus.
- Attend vocal rehearsals and lead worship on Sunday mornings for ANFGC Dallas congregation.
- Develop spiritual life through study, prayer and fellowship.
- Develop professionally on a continuing basis by attending conferences, reading relevant literature and connecting with other worship leaders in the Dallas area.
- Engage in staff and key leader meetings.
- Participate in church-wide events including: Worship Services, conferences and community outreach.
- Other job duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord.
- Membership and active participation with ANFGC Dallas.
- Extensive vocal and worship-leading ability including the ability to lead worship bands.
- Ability to lead from an instrument (preferably guitar or keyboard).
- Ability to lead worship and bring the congregation to a heart of worship.
- Ability to coordinate the creative process and worship in all of its forms.
- Ability to gain and hold the respect of the people of the church.
- Ability to communicate, coordinate, and participate with church staff, Elder Board, and other lay workers in a positive and productive way.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,600.00 per month
