Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure Nursing Staff perform their weekly and daily follow-up to monitor infection(s) when needed.
- Follows the verbal order procedure.
- Ensure all administration of medications and vaccinations as requested by the physician or psychiatrist are performed timely.
- Follows the verbal order procedure.
- Adheres to BSLS Core Values, Mission Statement, and Corporate Philosophies.
- Assists with annual reviews and disciplinary actions as needed for nursing staff.
- Assists in the maintenance and development of nursing policies and procedures, including staff DMA policy and Process.
- Complete nursing staff’s assessments, aims and ensure HCAs are completed.
- Assist in recruiting and training of all nursing staff and ensure training on the following functions:
Education & Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Minnesota with a minimum of 2 years previous supervisory experience.
- Maintains own mandatory training and certification requirements.
- Experience working within Long-Term Care highly preferred
- Versed with 245D
- Proven capability of interacting with many disciplines.
- Proven ability to deescalate tough situations.
- Proven ability to be able to provide care as needed.
- Approved by federal, state and local government entities to work at Beacon.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
