Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team at Atlantic Oceanic LLC. We are The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and payroll processing software. This role offers the opportunity to work with various financial concepts and accounting software.

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
- Answer payroll-related inquiries from employees
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QBO and Paychex
- Knowledge of governmental accounting practices
- Multi-state experience
- Strength in using excel and complex formulas.
- Familiarity with financial concepts related to payroll processing
Experience:
- At least 3 years experience working as a payroll administrator
- Administered payroll for 30+ eomployees
- 1 year of experience working with QBO is preferred
