The Market development representative (MDR) role is tasked with building El Bandido Yankee Tequila in the Las Vegas metro region of accounts such as bars, restaurants, liquor stores, hotels, and resorts. Day to day, the MDR role interacts with owners, managers, and bartenders of these establishments to build mutually beneficial partnerships that grow revenue and profit. To do this effectively, you need to be solution-oriented, have a customer service mindset, and have a relentless pursuit of winning.
- Create and manage solutions to grow the accounts business, while driving results that deliver market share growth for El Bandido Yankee.
- Build our brand by utilizing consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve problems, and maximize sales.
- Collaborate with our partners to support selling and execution
- Plan and implement programs to deliver volume, distribution, and execution KPIs
- Develop mutually valuable relationships with assigned customers, by understanding their key needs and requirements.
- Serve as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) with key customers.
- Regularly review our account business and deliver solutions to improve profitability and growth.
- Some experience working in the spirits industry
- Some experience working for a bar or restaurant
- Charismatic, motivated, hard-working, and confident attitude
- A valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Willingness to Travel
- Candidate must reside in or near the territory
- Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience
- Market development and sales analysis experience
- Strong ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results
- Experience building customer relationships
Salary:
Base Pay: $1,000-$3,000
Bonus: Unlimited based on performance
Base Pay: ~ $4,000-$7,000 per month based on experience
Bonus: Unlimited based on performance
Cash incentives include getting a new placement at an account, the number of cases sold, products placed on a menu, tastings, and others.
Expensed purchases can include gas, travel, meals, trade spend, etc.
