Duties:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and teeth whitening.
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries.
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and MRIs.
- Administer anesthetics during procedures.
Skills:
- Proficient in medical documentation.
- Experience with Eaglesoft dental software.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
- Familiarity with medical coding for accurate billing.
- Ability to work with medical imaging equipment.
- Competence in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for dental restorations.
- Understanding of medical terminology for effective communication with patients and staff.
- Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
- Experience using Epic electronic health records system.
