Our Assisted Living and Memory Care community is currently seeking a Wellness Director to provide overall leadership and management of the health and well-being of the residents. The Wellness Director is responsible for the day-to-day implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services at the community – including scheduling, training, and managing of all Resident Services staff.
Responsibilities for the Wellness Coordinator, LPN or RN include but are not limited to:
Quality assurance, regulatory compliance, coordination of resident’s health and wellness needs, medication program management and resident assessments, Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and ancillary health services.
- Responsible for overseeing the medication programs.
- Assist in the recruiting, hiring, and training of the clinical team.
- Completing clinical staffing within assisted living.
- Responsible for leadership, including engagement, performance management, and evaluations.
The Wellness Director position reports to the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- A LPN or RN license
- A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Wellness Coordinator, or similar role.
- Possess a current State license.
- Possess a working knowledge of SC DHEC regulations.
- Memory Care and Assisted Living experience is a plus.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.
- Minimum certification to administer medications.
- Demonstration of competence in assessment skills, medication administration and triage.
- Strong leadership skill and time-management skills.
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
