Summary:
This is a full-time position that is responsible for assisting the Shop Foreman and employees with daily responsibilities and maintain clean and safe work environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics with equipment repairs. Keeping records of parts and supplies used on equipment and reports to foreman; notifies foreman when parts, supplies, and equipment are needed.

Empties trash, garbage and scrap metal containers. Discarding used material properly and storing tools and supplies.
- Clean, sweep and mop the shop and outside areas.

Load and unload small freight.

Pick up and deliver mechanical parts and supplies.

While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to communicate with all other employees.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent education; and/or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Forklift experience.

Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

English language fluency, verbal and written.

Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
