The Electrical Estimator is responsible for analyzing blueprints to determine the electrical costs of materials, equipment and sub-contract needs of various electrical projects. Estimator will have accountability for completing bid proposals, performing takeoffs, attending pre-bid meetings, performing site visits, contacting suppliers and sub-contractors, leading bid reviews, entering quotes and closing out estimates. Work closely with operations staff and project management staff to familiarize them with the project and coordinate resources and scheduling. Prepare transition to accounting and project management software and will work with the project management team to prepare purchase orders and subcontracts.
In addition to this, you should have extraordinary knowledge of electrical codes and distribution systems.

- Ability to understand blueprints/drawings and contract documents.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Superb time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented and dependable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Blue Beam.
- Functional use of Procore Project Management Software is preferred.
- Valid electrical license is preferred.
