Job Responsibilities:
- Implement sexual assault prevention programs for all age groups;
- Organize community resources to assist with implementation of programs;
- Act as education resource for agency and community;
- Assist with a variety of administrative projects, research new services, coordinate records and documentation;
- Provide crisis response to clients via the crisis phone line and in-person medical advocacy at the hospital as scheduled;
- Develop and implement community and awareness programs for all age groups;
- Collaborate with and provide consultation to other agencies and professional groups in identifying and meeting health and social needs of communities;
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field from an accredited university;
- Must have good public speaking ability needed for education program;
- Knowledge of sexual victimization dynamics;
- Proficient in use of current technology and effective electronic communication methods required;
- Must have good organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects;
- Must have own transportation;
- Per 920 KAR 2:040, shall submit to a criminal record check in accordance with KRS 17.165 and a central registry check in accordance with 922 KAR 1:470 during the application process and every two (2) years thereafter while employed by Silverleaf;
- Per 920 KAR 2:040, must be twenty-one (21) years of age;
Physical and Environmental Demands:
- Exposure to direct victim trauma, including descriptions of violence and injuries, and stressful situations during disclosures during/following presentations that may occur.
