We are looking for a Field Application Engineer that can help work in a team for server deployment and troubleshooting issues. This role requires critical thinking, particularly in resolving non-standard issues by referencing historical data, working alongside both entry level and highly technical experts in the server industry, traveling onsite for support, and working in communication with international teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers
- Traveling domestically for on-site support and system deployments
- Create technical documentation and training materials
- Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams, including international teams
- Staying up to date on industry trends and technologies
- Attend meetings during non-business hours
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years of server-grade hardware experience (troubleshooting/installation/deployment) or experience in related fields
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. technical support, sales)
- Familiarity with Linux and CLI
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical personnel
- Intermediate knowledge of computer components and software preferred
- Mandarin understanding (reading and writing is not necessary)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime after hours
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to commute to and from workplace daily
- Must be authorized to work in the US
