Job Description Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of job duties to create an efficient patient experience. You will be expected to work with the staff to anticipate patient needs, coordinate and participate in every aspect of patient care. To ensure success, urgent care employees need to be flexible, able to adapt and willing to work as a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently and efficiently produce quality diagnostic images while practicing ALARA.
- Ability to give clear patient instructions.
- Ensure proper sending of images to PACS system and Radiologist for final dictated reports.
- Review final dictated reports for discrepancies.
- Maintain radiology equipment such as daily and monthly QA. Keep detailed maintenance records.
- Daily equipment inspection.
- Maintain daily totals including repeat and reject log.
- Participate in quarterly radiation safety meetings.
- Added team responsibilities include but not limited to: greeting patients, assisting in patient intake and discharge, answering phones, maintaining patient records, drug screens, patient labs, maintaining a clean work area, and stocking rooms.
- Sterilization of tools, maintaining autoclave records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates Degree in Applied Science in Radiologic Technology is required.
- Technologist is responsible for maintaining current state licensing for Diagnostic Imaging and providing copies upon request.
- BLS certification
- 6 to 12 months of related experience preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
