Sales & Service Trainer – East Division
Meyer Laboratory is seeking a self-directed, highly motivated and accomplished individual to join our Meyer family as our Remote Sales & Service Trainer. This remote-based role will be instrumental in training our new and existing employees as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales training, excellent communication skills and the ability to travel extensively. This candidate will travel weekly with the new sales force within the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will live in Chicago, Atlanta, Kansas City, Nashville, Cincinnati, or Baltimore, as they will be covering the eastern half of the United States.
Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and maintain effective sales and service training programs for new hires and existing employees.
· Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales and service teams.
· Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
· Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, performance metrics, and follow-up assessments.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices to continuously improve training content.
· Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales and service teams to ensure continuous improvement and success.
· Travel to various locations as required (at least 50% travel) to deliver in-person training and support.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety protocols, inventory control.
- Strong familiarity with sales techniques.
- Technical aptitude and ability to train others on installation and service of chemical dispensing equipment.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and multi-media tools.
- Experience with using NetSuite ERP and CRM.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales training, preferably within the chemical manufacturing or related industry.
· Proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.
· Ability to work independently and remotely.
· Willingness to travel extensively (at least 50% travel required).
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
· Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate learners.
· Proficient in instructional design, adult learning principles and training methodologies.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, department leaders and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure training program aligns with company goals and Core Values.
· Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Travel & Physical Requirements
· Up to 50% travel through United States and Canada required
o Must have, or be able to obtain, and maintain current passport
· Desk and computer work required
· Lifting required up to 50 lbs
