We are offering a career position with high potential for growth within the company to select candidates who possess in-depth knowledge of integrated site design, green infrastructure, regenerative design, commercial hardscape design, and habitat enhancement projects.
Opportunities
Preparation of detailed design plans, drawings and specifications for site related improvements inclusive of but not limited to water resource enhancements, meadows, athletic fields, green roofs, roof top living spaces, commercial hardscapes, site layout, grading, and landscape design related to green infrastructure in conjunction with the engineering staff.
Collaborate with design team members on site planning, site design, and conceptual building layout designs in CAD.
Perform site investigation, due diligence and feasibility analysis.
Prepare master plans, concept sketches, and conceptual landscape design.
Preparation of written correspondence and presentation documents for municipal and community meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture
Professional registration as Landscape Architect.
5+ years of landscape architecture/site design experience on variety of project types
Experience with Healthcare, Senior Living, Science + Technology (including Higher Education) and/or Civic projects preferred; demonstrated exposure to all design and construction phases of projects required; previous experience leading teams in collaborative, integrated design team environments is a plus.
Working knowledge of the planning, landscape design and approval process related to land development open space and public projects.
Basic understanding of the relationship of flora, fauna, soil, geology, and natural systems.
Strong time and personnel management skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in Sketch-Up, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign desirable.
LEED AP or Green Associate preferred, but not required.
Strong preference given to local candidates.
