Position: HR Generalist

Reports to: HR Manager
As an HR Generalist at Principle Strategies, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's HR functions. You will be responsible for collaborating closely with clients (both management and employees), fostering positive employee relations, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the facilitator of the onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into their roles and the company culture.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans.
- Coordinate and full administer training sessions and workshops to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Provide advice and support on various HR matters, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
- Completes full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
- Facilitates investigations and resolve employee relations issues, such as conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Support HR Manager with employee administration, and communication, ensuring competitive offerings and addressing employee inquiries.
- Conduct HR-related reporting and analysis, including workforce planning, diversity initiatives, and key HR metrics.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Leads various HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, HR process improvements, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Requires up to 25% travel within Hampton Roads.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- 2+ years of human resources experience
- Must be able to work collaboratively with our clients and HR Manager.
- A passion for learning and professional development, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- High level of professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information.
