Responsibilities:
- Conduct meticulous reviews of Minimum Data Set (MDS) and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy of resident assessments and optimal CMI calculation.
- Evaluate MDS coding and provide comprehensive education to ensure adherence to company policies and long-term care regulations.
- Provide expert oversight and guidance on MDS processes within the facility, including CMI optimization strategies.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective care plans based on accurate MDS assessments.
Requirements:
- Current, valid RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in long-term care with a focus on MDS management and CMI optimization.
- Proven track record of expertise in MDS assessments, coding, and CMI functions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and educate others effectively.
