We are seeking a highly dynamic and detailed-oriented team player with a rapid capacity for learning who wants to develop a career in the biomedical devices or healthcare industry.
The position is to support the electronic development and deployment of our next generation wearable brain monitoring system for used in Hospitals. Our first device has been approved by the FDA.
This role focus on electronic tasks (i.e. working with circuits, electronic testing, circuit design, running SPICE simulations, etc.). The second focus of this role is to provide support for clinical studies using own device at the Hospitals. You would support clinicians and troubleshoot any issues that happen to our device. If you are a fresh/recent graduate who is looking to build a career in the biomedical/healthcare field, this role will provide an excellent exposure to many areas of the field.
We expect you to have engineering training in biomedical, electronics engineering. Key personal qualities are versatility, detail-orientation and a desire and rapid capacity for learning. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team of engineers, neuroscientists, and physicians. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills that will enable she or he to work effectively with other team members.
You will be working with a high-performing team of renown professors and alumni from MIT, Harvard, CMU on exciting and meaningful healthcare medical device products. Our team is extremely small so you will have all our attention!
