Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including employee orientation, benefits administration, training development, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews and negotiating job offers
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated into the organization effectively
- Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Implement process improvements to streamline HR operations
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Kronos, Paylocity, or Oracle to manage employee data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Kronos, Paylocity, or Oracle
