CONMED is looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer who can help develop new products for Advanced Surgical’s R&D team in Denver, CO. This engineer will have immediate opportunities to contribute to new product development with a focus on minimally invasive surgical technologies designed to deliver real benefits to surgeons, hospitals and their patients. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be working on a high-performing team, helping develop new products and transfer them to manufacturing.

Advanced Surgical products include:
Advanced insufflation systems
Advanced energy systems
Electrosurgical units (ESU’s)
Laparoscopic surgical instruments
Responsibilities:
Designing new circuits to be used in capital and disposable equipment
Performing design simulations on electrical designs
Writing technical documentation and project documentation
Prototyping new electrical designs and doing board bring-up
Assisting with board layout or performing board layout as required
Designing RF Amplifiers and or power supplies
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or highly related
8+ years engineering work experience required, preference placed on experience in the development and release of new products
Understanding of analog signals
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RF Amplifiers and power supplies
Experience with Altium or related
Experience writing technical documents such as protocols and reports
Experience in the Medical Device Industry or related regulated industry
Experience with electronic disposables
Experience with high-volume disposables
0-20% travel
