Job Summary:The Multiskilled Tech I-IV performs technical and clerical duties associated with the care and treatment of patients.Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:•Performs basic patient care with consideration for age and development stage.•Assist with patient care in a way that minimizes the risk of transfer of infection, accidental contamination, and protects the patient from injury or harm.•Obtains and records vital signs, I/O's, weights, basic ECG monitoring, venipuncture’s, bedside testing, and documents in the patients record as directed by the licensed personnel.•Delivers and obtains items from other areas of the hospital as required.•Prepares and assists with admissions, discharges, procedures, ambulating and transfers of patients.•Assists in monitoring adequate availability and stocking of supplies and equipment according to established PAR levels.•Performs clerical functions (fax, copier, computer, printer; insurance coding, patient charges, and telephone).•Monitors patients with restraints or on suicide precautions and documents as directed.•Maintains a safe, clean work environment.

Required Qualifications:•Must have one of the following: Current Nurse Assistant certification from the Texas Department of Public Health (CNAs only); or Current certification from a national registry as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA); or Current State of Texas registration (EMT); or current Patient Care Tech certification (PCT).•Current JPS recognized BLS- CPR Certification and must be maintained throughout employment.•Must have current licensure, certification, or registration relative to the discipline used to qualify for the position and must be maintained throughout employment.•Completion of Area Specific Competency Based Orientation Program within the first 90 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:•High School Diploma or GED.•Completion of an accredited medical training program (e.g. EMT-B/I, EMT-P, CMA, CNA, etc.).
Completion of basic ECG, Phlebotomy, or Medical Terminology courses.•Graduated from an accredited nursing school.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:•Possesses effective technical knowledge in field and utilizes skills to complete daily assigned tasks. Possesses the ability to maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with relevant literature, attending meetings and appropriate training as well as interfacing with various inside and outside experts.
•Demonstrates competency in ensuring patient care is performed in a timely manner. Identifies patient orders and works to prevent treatment/procedure delays ensuring the continuation of service.•Demonstrates competency in completing documentation and meets current standards including policies and procedures and documentation of all mandatory forms within the scope of the job. Demonstrates excellent documentation in the EMR including pre, intra, and post-procedural assessments, medication administration, progress notes, etc.
•Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate in a well-organized, courteous and effective manner (verbal and written) with both internal and external customers. Demonstrates the ability to adapt communication style to respond to different audiences and actively listens and considers the ideas of others.

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our medical team. The Surgical Technician will assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use.
Duties:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery
- Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- Clean and restock operating rooms after procedures
- Provide patient care as needed
Requirements:
- Basic life support certification
- Strong patient service skills
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical administrative support tasks
- Proficiency in patient care techniques
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and X-Ray procedures
