Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary: A Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical injuries or disabilities to help them improve their mobility, reduce pain, and increase overall physical function. They work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve range of motion, strength, and function
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises to prevent further injury
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience working with patients of all ages and abilities
