Develops and implements a comprehensive donor relations program operated from the University of Houston's department of Advancement & Alumni Engagement. Provides leadership, staff management and budget oversight for several significant donor relations programs. The candidate will be experienced in the field of Donor Relations and be prepared to serve as a leader in this area of increased focus.

Assists the Director with strategic planning for Donor Relations to help deploy resources, develop evaluation measures and ensure consistent high quality work. Collaborate on developing and monitoring intended outcomes for each project.

Take lead role in bringing four donor societies to full fruition. (to include inductions, calendaring and executing annual communications and engagement plans and evaluation for a lifetime giving society, a planned giving society, a corporate donor society and a loyalty donor cohort)

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan (budget, resources) with realistic goals and schedules for a university-wide stewardship program.

Manage select impact reporting, endowed chairs and professorships recognition, and donor strategy and experience for the Wortham House, President's football suite and basketball season tickets.

Oversee donor, prospect, alumni and volunteer gift programs, including vendor indemnification, product development and distribution.

Lead the development of comprehensive engagement plans for donors supporting specific university-wide initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelors and 5 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of five(5) years of directly job-related experience.
