Healthcare Receiving and Inventory Coordinator

Position Overview: The Receiving and Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our healthcare facility by managing the receiving, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory management systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent stockouts.
- Rotate stock and manage expiration dates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory management, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards preferred.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
