Assistant Property Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property revenue. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain property standards and handle tenant inquiries.
Duties:
- Assist in leasing activities, including showing units to prospective tenants and processing applications.
- Handle tenant concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Conduct property inspections and address any issues to maintain property standards.
- Assist in rent collection and financial reporting.
- Support marketing efforts to attract new tenants.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with tenants and vendors.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager on budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid California drivers license.
- Sales experience is preferred for leasing activities.
- Previous experience in property management or related field.
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes effectively.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices.
- Experience with Section 8 housing is a plus.
- Proficiency in office software for data entry and reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle phone inquiries with proper etiquette.
- Familiarity with property management software.
