This role is responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions in assigned sections, as well as assuming all Housekeeping leadership functions in his/her absence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervise daily operations in maintaining the maintenance/sanitation of the guest rooms, public areas and pool/health club.
· Assist with overseeing entire housekeeping operation.
· Recommend and implement procedural changes.
· Monitor inventories and expenses.
· One-on-one communication with guests and associates
· Constant walkthrough checks and analyze reports
· Assist in maintaining the physical appearance and operational organization within
the housekeeping office.
· Responsible for supervision of staff and inspecting rooms for cleanliness and public
areas.
· Creating daily room assignment boards and preparing LA Hotel Worker Protection
workbook.
· Issuing keys, Relays, assignment boards, and supplies.
· Maintain accurate records of assignments and changes to assignments updating
the LA Hotel Worker Protection Workbook.
· Conduct daily inventory of Relay radios, keys, and departmental items.
· Ensure signatures from all housekeeping team members for punch edits and LA
Hotel Worker Protection Workbook assignment sheets, Relay, and key return.
· Maintain and execute records for Do Not Disturb rooms and callbacks as
associated.
· Assist in monthly inventory counts and record keeping.
· Make recommendations for Disciplinary Action for substandard performance.
· Other duties as assigned.
